Ongoing training
it’s only through constant and ongoing development of our staff that we can
achieve the highest standards in teaching.
In 2024, TFA invested over 15 days per person for each
training and for standardising its
instructors. That same year, our flight instructors completed around
100 hours of flying in
reciprocal sessions, ensuring ongoing consistency in teaching techniques. TFA also organised
3
days of training focused on new teaching and assessment methods known as CBTA
(Competency-Based
Training & Assessment), as required by EASA. For this occasion, we invited Dr Monica Bacchi — an
aviation psychologist and former researcher at the ISPRA Joint Research Centre — to share her
expertise on Human Factors.
