Course structure

If your dream is to fly for passion, or to take your very first step towards a professional career, our Private Pilot Licence (PPL) course in Turin is the perfect choice. This course allows you to obtain your PPL, the foundation for moving on to higher levels of flight training. Please note: the PPL does not permit any form of commercial or paid aerial work.

On average, training takes around 6–9 months, depending on your availability.

Ground School

Ground school

  • 100 hours of lessons
    (either distance learning or classroom-based)
  • 3 Months
  • 1 exam
    (written exam with multiple-choice questions, conducted in English)

Flight Training

Flight training

  • 1 final exam

Flight activities include:

  • 25h dual flight instruction
  • 10h solo flying (including 5h on simulator)
  • Cross-country flight 150nm (300km) solo
