Course structure
The APS MCC (Airline Pilot Standard Multi-Crew Cooperation) course at Turin Flying Academy is
designed to give
aspiring airline pilots the operational skills needed to fly multi-crew commercial aircraft such as the Airbus A320.
Throughout the programme, trainees alternate between two key roles:
- PF - Pilot Flying: responsible for managing the aircraft in flight.
- PM - Pilot Monitoring: responsible for supporting and overseeing operational safety.
This rotation is vital in helping you develop the ability to work seamlessly as part of a team,
following the
professional standards expected in airline operations.
Practical training is carried out on cutting-edge A320 simulators, designed to replicate real-world
airline
operations with exceptional accuracy. You’ll learn how to manage communications with the cabin
crew, coordinate with
ground engineers and airport staff, and apply standard operating procedures in a
multi-crew environment.
The APS MCC combines the former MCC (Multi Crew Cooperation) and JOC (Jet Orientation Course) into a single,
streamlined programme. This ensures you are fully prepared for the transition into airline operations, consolidating
your skills for handling jet aircraft in a commercial setting.
Course length will vary depending on individual availability.
