Our Fleet
A modern fleet and state-of-the-art simulators
At Turin Flying Academy, you’ll train on a modern, high-performance fleet built
to meet the very
latest European standards (EASA). From your very first flight under visual rules (VFR) through
to advanced instrument training (IFR), every stage is supported by cutting-edge aircraft
and
simulators — essential to earning your Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL).
Aircraft at your service
Our academy operates six aircraft dedicated to professional pilot training:
- 5 single-engine aircraft (3 IFR-certified and 2 VFR) — ideal for initial
training and transition to instrument flying.
-
1 Diamond DA42 twin-engine IFR aircraft — a next-generation trainer
equipped with a full glass cockpit (EFIS) and
Flight Management System (FMS), designed to replicate complex real-world
flight scenarios.
With this fleet, you’ll cover the full training spectrum,
including flights in BRNAV and icing conditions.
For advanced multicrew training (MCC) and jet orientation (JOC), you’ll fly on our
ENTROL 4000 A320 FNPT II MCC simulator, certified and based at Turin Caselle
Airport. This technology allows you to train using the same operating procedures as
major airlines, sharpening both teamwork in the cockpit and emergency handling
skills.
Beyond the standard training
Thanks to the reliability of our fleet, Turin Flying Academy offers additional
experiences each year:
- Flight training placements at Alghero Airport.
-
Cross-country flying raids across both national and international airports.
These opportunities help cadets build confidence, expand their decision-making skills, and
strengthen operational readiness.
Certified in-house maintenance
All our aircraft undergo regular maintenance at Turin Flying Maintenance, our
ENAC-certified
workshop located within Turin Caselle Airport. This ensures maximum safety, consistent
availability of aircraft, and over 4,000 hours of annual flight training time.
