Course structure
Working as a cabin crew member means being responsible for passenger safety, handling complex situations and operating
in a structured environment.
The Initial Cabin Crew course by Turin Flying Academy, the first EASA-certified school in Italy, follows EASA regulations to ensure the technical skills required by airlines. Delivered by senior
cabin crew members with decades of experience, it prepares you to face the profession with the right knowledge and
mindset.
The course is full-time and lasts a total of 115 hours: during the
95 hours of theory and the 20 hours of practice, you will learn:
- Safety and emergency procedures
- Customer Care
- Operational communication
- How to work in a team
- Aeronautical regulations
- Land and water survival techniques
- Use of emergency equipment
- CPR and use of an automated external defibrillator (AED)
- Use of slide and raft in water
At the end of the training programme, you will have to pass a theoretical and practical examination to obtain the
Cabin Crew Attestation (CCA), a certification recognised at European level.
Once you have obtained the CCA, you will be able to apply for airline recruitment processes, provided you meet the following
requirements:
- Category B driving licence
- Valid passport
- Clean criminal record certificate
